Startup Advisory & Strategy
TechPonte helps founders across Portugal and Europe turn bold ideas into fundable, scalable businesses — with hands-on guidance from operators and entrepreneurs, not career consultants.
What we do
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with founders across Europe at the moments that matter most — from first pitch to product-market fit.
Go-to-market planning, competitive positioning, and business model design to build a repeatable growth engine.
Pitch deck, financial model, due diligence prep — we help you tell a compelling story to the right investors.
Practical guidance on AI product strategy, architecture decisions, and building tech teams that move fast.
Sales strategy, channel development, and market entry — whether launching in your home market or expanding across Europe.
Senior expertise at C-suite level for startups that need it without the full-time overhead.
Cross-Atlantic market strategy, regulatory navigation, and building the right local presence — whether heading into Europe or into the US.
About TechPonte
Our background spans founding and scaling startups, running large enterprise operations across multiple domains, and deep hands-on technical work at companies including Amazon. We bring cross-functional, cross-industry experience that most advisors simply don't have.
Headquartered in Guimarães, Portugal, we work with founders across Portugal and Europe who are building in complex, technical domains — and who need a partner who actually understands the technology, not just the business deck.
Areas of deep technical expertise:
Real experience. Straight talk. Sleeves rolled up.
We tell founders what they need to hear, not what they want to hear.
Every recommendation comes from someone who has actually done it.
Deep ties across Portugal, Europe, and the US — both sides of the Atlantic.
The team
Greg brings over 30 years of experience across global technology and telecommunications. At Amazon, he served as Principal Product Manager for both AWS IoT — helping shape one of the world's leading cloud IoT platforms — and the Alexa Smart Home team, where he drove product strategy for Amazon's consumer smart home ecosystem.
Earlier in his career, Greg held senior roles at Texas Instruments and co-founded EdgeIQ, an IoT SaaS platform. He currently leads Verbo/Ledovox, an AI-powered push-to-talk communications startup, and serves as an advisor to companies at Unicorn Factory Lisboa and UPTEC, and as a mentor at Georgia Tech's College of Computing.
His technical depth spans IoT, telecommunications, cloud services, smart home, and consumer products — making him one of the rare advisors who can engage at the architecture level as easily as the boardroom.
